Elias Wuermeling

Elias Wuermeling, aka LIAS, creates songs that read like pages in a diary, unraveling stories of self-discovery and crafting a sonic canvas that captures the essence of life's melancholy. With his EP ‘Funeral of a Choir Boy’ he creates a testament to the power of introspection and the courage to find your true purpose. The German singer-songwriter with Dutch roots and a classical vocal education started his musical journey as a boy soloist, performing with world-renowned artists such as Jose Carreras and the orchestra of the Bavarian State Opera on the world’s greatest stages: from Ecuador to the Vatican with Pope Benedict XVI. However, growing up he felt the desire to break free from the conservatism of this classical world and his upbringing in order to express his own inner universe. First liberating steps brought him to songwriting, and after detours in various industries, including investment banking and the Berlin start-up world, he found his way back to making music and began performing and releasing his own songs.
