Thorsten Nagelschmidt hates Christmas.
Keyword: family hell. Childhood trauma. The festival of lies.
So, to escape the annual December depression, he fled to an all-inclusive hotel on Gran Canaria — to watch all seven seasons of The Sopranos, eight hours a day, for eleven days straight. And then write a book about it. Totally normal. And that’s exactly what happened.
What’s not normal: that afterwards, together with the mysterious, always-masked piano virtuoso Lambert, he turned that book into an album — and it’s nothing short of astonishing.
